Time spent with family

13th April we scattered Tony's ashes in a copse by the stream that runs down by the 9 hole golf course. Tony, before he was ill, was not one to take everything seriously so this was a light hearted outing with myself, Lynda and Joe and Stephen. But there was, of course sadness under the laughter and we all had our own thoughts This is a place passed by many people by the side of part of the Gloucester Way. But only we know that it is his last resting place. A very small portion of his ashes went home with me to rest in our garden.
Grief is a heartache no-one can heal; love is a memory no-one can steal.

Joe scattered the ashes

There was a beautiful blossom tree nearby.

And this was another view from the place

Friday 16th April Lunch at the Flightpath bar. Sun and cloud and a chilly wind but a lovely lunch (Joe and I had fish and chips and Lyn had curry and chips). Nice to sit and chat and watch the planes and helicopters taking off and landing.

Cheers!
