I like snapping 'odd' things as I travel about and I saw this at Breedon on the Hill in Derbyshire the other week.
It is a Round House or Lock Up, built around 1793 and last used in 1885. It was used to detain human offenders until they could be taken to Town Prison.
I had never seen one before.
