  2. Were you a member when she was passed from one to other of us all round the UK to collect money for cancer research UK after Gaynor died. It was great fun, I received her from Mags in Bristol and passed her on to Sally (with stars) not far from here in Worcestershire.

  3. no I dont think so although I remember reading about it, my cousin was called Gaynor and she died when she was middle aged of cancer....Jean x

  4. It was 2006 She started in Newcastle I think, organised by Jenny (Mummy Longlegs). We were in groups in counties and had to organise our group so she was ferried from one group to another, she went right down to Cornwall, into Wales and right up to Scotland. Each group vied to see what they could be photographed doing with her. She went down Firemens' poles, up in a plane, all sorts of things. She carried a book with her where it was all recorded and Jenny still has the bear and all the stuff she accumulated. Loads of people got to 'meet' her and meet up with each other.
